My Best Friend

As I mentioned before, my best friend is Zoey; she is one and is a black lab. We have been best friends since she was adopted by my human's old roommates.
These are Zoey's humans, and my best aunt and uncle!

Last night, Zoey and I had a sleep over with my mom. We had so much fun, but man, one year olds can sure play! I was pooped before bedtime.
Zoey only slept in two hour intervals; it was very strange. But, everytime she got up to go potty, she thought my mom was going to give her a treat...my mom learned real fast the game being played, Ha! That Zoey, she talked my ear off all night long. I thought, just wait until you are three... you'll be tired too, young lady!
My Mom... she is always taking pictures, or videos, or whatever a "snapchat" is.

I am sure glad to have such a good best friend like Zoey! She always keeps me on my toes... I mean paws.

My Wardrobe

I know what you are thinking...what does a dog need a wardrobe for? Well, I couldn't agree with you more! But, my human mom thinks it is necessary I look good! One of my...I mean her, favorites is my camo vest; I don't even try to eat this one!

Recently, she tried to make me where a "fishing hat" I think she called it. Let me tell you, it was ridiculous! I have tried to destroy that bomber hat every chance I've gotten, unsuccessfully thus far... But I'll get it...

I got a new Christmas sweater this year... she kept calling it an "ugly Christmas sweater." I don't know; I don't get it...Why would you intentionally buy something ugly?? But, she did!
My best friend, Zoey, got a matching "ugly sweater." Our humans thought it was the best thing ever.

Last but not least, my Halloween costume... for three years in a row! A Hot Dog...get it?? Funny, right? NOT! Finally, I was able to destroy that damn hot dog this year!

A Little about Me

I was adopted by my humans around the time I was 13 weeks old. They tried to make me sleep in a kennel my first night, but I cried and cried until they let me out. I knew it wouldn't take much for her (my human mom) to give in. She wrapped me up in a blanket and cuddled with me on the living room floor, as my human dad was adamant there would be "no dogs in bed." Ha. Before you knew it, there he was, laying on floor with mom and I, that silly man. Skip to night two, guess where I got to sleep? Yep, you guessed it, in the bed with the humans. And that is where I have slept for the last 3 years now...

My Name is Bow Hunter Hirsch

Welcome to my blog! I'm Bow, your ordinary, or may I say extraordinary, German Short-Hair Pointer. I like pheasant hunting, bird watching/chasing, mouse hunting and destuffing stuffed animals. I have two humans I take care of; they would be lost without me. Stay tuned for more of my story!
